Apostle Lilian Owusu, widow of former Deputy Finance Minister and Member of Parliament for Ejisu, John Ampontuah Kumah, has remarried.
A flyer thanking guests at the ceremony, which has gone viral on social media, identifies her husband as Samuel Aryeequaye.
“Thank you! Samuel Aryeequaye & Lilian Owusu are deeply thankful for your presence at our engagement ceremony. Your support, love, and well wishes mean more to us than words can express. God bless you abundantly. ‘A cord of three strands is not easily broken’ — Ecclesiastes 4:12,” the flyer reads.
John Kumah died in March 2024 while serving as Deputy Minister of Finance and MP for Ejisu.
The then 45-year-old politician had earlier served as Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme before his election to Parliament in the 2020 general elections on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He was married to Apostle Mrs. Lilian Kumah, founder and senior pastor of Disciples of Christ Ministries Worldwide.
The couple had six biological children, as well as foster children.
