After two decades of impacting cities in Europe and the U.S., the Global Prayer Works Summit has returned to its roots, opening today in Accra, Ghana.
This marks the first time the summit is being held on African soil. Organised by Nicholas Duncan-Williams Ministries, the event, themed “Revive Us Again” continues through Saturday, July 19, at the Prayer Cathedral, Action Chapel International’s headquarters on the Spintex Road.
It will bring together church leaders, pastors, intercessors and believers from across the globe. Over the years, it has earned a reputation for being a place where lives are changed through fervent prayer and word-centered teaching.
Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, General Overseer of Action Chapel International, will lead the summit. He will be joined by Rev. Eastwood Anaba, Senior Pastor of Fountain Gate Chapel in Bolgatanga, Ghana; Rev. Dr. Robert Ampiah-Kwofi, General Overseer of Global Revival Ministries; and Bishop Dr. Bernard Ogyiri Asare, Founder and General Overseer of Zion Praise Chapel International. These are men whose lives and ministries have helped shape the faith of thousands.
Praise and worship will be led by Ghana’s own Joe Mettle and Sandra Boakye-Duah, and Simiane - a French worship leader with growing influence in Africa.
Organisers expect thousands to take part in person, with even more expected to join virtually via Dominion TV and Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams’ official social media platforms.
On Saturday, the final day, the summit will open with “Morning Glory” at 7:00 a.m., followed by breakout sessions at 9:00 a.m., tailored for young adults, ministry leaders, business professionals, and changemakers.
