Teen Talk Ghana has been honoured with the “Leadership in Gender Equality and Girl-Child Empowerment” award at the Ghana Outstanding Community Leadership Awards (GOCLA 2025).
The awards were organized by the Business Executive Group and held on May 30, 2025, at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.
The award recognized Teen Talk Ghana’s outstanding contribution to empowering young girls and championing gender equality in communities across Ghana.
Executive Director, Madam Linat Osman Kundaribuo, received the award on behalf of the organization and expressed deep appreciation to supporters, partners and beneficiaries.
“This award is a recognition of the passion, hard work, and commitment we’ve poured into empowering girls and advancing gender equality across our communities.
"To every young girl we’ve walked with, every partner who has believed in our vision, and every supporter who has cheered us on, this is for you,” the organization shared on its official Facebook page.
Teen Talk Ghana is dedicated to improving the educational attainments, human welfare, health needs, and opportunities for teenagers and young people in the Upper West Region and Ghana at large.
Its vision is to create a world of opportunities for teenagers and young people, especially females, to explore their social, cultural, economic, and educational potential.
It further congratulated its partner organizations and acknowledged Oheneyere Gifty Anti and the Gifty Anti Foundation for receiving the “Excellence in Social Impact and Humanitarian Leadership Award” at the same event.
Teen Talk Ghana and the Gifty Anti Foundation have been collaborating and delivering tailored support services towards advancing the cause of girls and young women in the country.
Recent amongst them was an outreach to feast and put smiles on the faces of children in Wa during Easter under the Easter FETE initiative.
Teen Talk Ghana reaffirmed its commitment to "building a future where every girl feels safe, has the opportunity to rise, lead, and thrive."
