Revisions Of Life, In An Artistic Eye

There are so many good things we will do as men

but in all these, blot out expectations
For,
what will make the son of a witch bewitched
and a daughter of two wizardry fathers be bitten by a snake

For,
what will cause a divide between two longing friends

if sex, money and power were not spirited abyss of that doom

For,
how can light be light in transit
even though shadows were in distant past
For,
what will make a man hate a rib of his own
and a wife feed on her own lust
For,
what is man in man
that we substitute our own happiness
to the 'anus' of a fragile animal
For,
what will cause a mother
to leave her baby suckling in sleep
to the claws and pecks of ravens.
And to which end is our love ❤️
And to which beginning do we unleash the knots.

What is it unto men
that we see but we act like we looked.
What is it unto men
that we vacate our rest to sit in mirrors of conjuration

What does a man even have?
that we don't fight God on our knees to refund the loan he owes us

There are so many good things we will do as men

but in all these, blot out expectations
and live as a man that can be whisked as sand towards a purpose.
