The PNAJ Research and Business Consult has brought its emotional intelligence awareness campaign to the OTEC School of Journalism and Communication Studies.
This initiative aims to educate students and the public about understanding and managing emotions to foster a more peaceful society.
During a presentation to the students on Thursday, March 13, 2025, the CEO of PNAJ Research and Business Consult, Dr. Prince Amoako, highlighted that many individuals struggle with emotional intelligence during challenging times, which can sometimes lead to extreme actions such as suicide. He emphasized that their mission is to equip people with the knowledge needed to manage their emotions and to support others in doing the same.
Dr. Amoako also announced that the campaign will extend beyond schools to local communities. Next week, the team plans to visit a community in Afigya Kwabre East as part of their outreach efforts.
He encouraged student journalists and media professionals to incorporate emotional intelligence into their work, stressing its importance in maintaining professionalism.
Following the event, some students expressed that they learned a great deal about emotional intelligence and praised the organizers for putting together such an impactful workshop.
