
Brigadier-General Paul Seidu Tanye-Kulono has been appointed Acting Director-General of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA).
The announcement was communicated to the public through a statement from the Presidency, signed by the acting Spokesperson to the President, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, on Friday, February 7.
“President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Brigadier-General Paul Seidu Tanye-Kulono as the acting director-general of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority,” the statement read in part.

Brigadier-General Paul Seidu Tanye-Kulono Esq. is a distinguished military officer and legal professional currently serving as deputy commandant of the National College of Defence Studies (NCDS) at Burma Camp, Accra.
He holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution from the George Washington University School of Law, a Master in Management Studies from Osmania University in India, and a Master of Arts in International Affairs from the University of Ghana. He was called to the Ghana Bar in 2015.
His professional development includes military training from prestigious institutions such as the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, the United States Army Command and General Staff College, and the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre.
Brigadier-General Tanye-Kulono has held key leadership positions throughout his career, including chief coordinator at NCDS, assistant commandant at the Training and Doctrine Command, and deputy director-general of training at the General Headquarters (GHQ).
His expertise extends to peacekeeping operations, having served as deputy force provost marshal and officer in charge of special investigations at UNIFIL headquarters.
