The Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin humorously mocked his NDC colleagues on the majority side for their notable absences.
During today’s parliamentary session, he pointed out that the few members on the majority side present would have to rely on the minority, which he jokingly referred to as the “micro Minority,” to help facilitate the passage of bills.
He remarked, “What advantage does an NDC super majority hold when, at a crucial moment, they must rely on the formidable minority?”
The NDC that boasts a super majority in the House has near-empty benches painted a different picture.
Afenyo-Markin seized the opportunity to point out the irony, humorously noting that those present would now have to depend on the minority—jokingly referred to as the “Mighty Minority” to ensure bills were passed.
