President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Abass Nurudeen, a private legal practitioner, as the Chief Executive Officer of the Social Investment Fund (SIF).
This appointment, announced by the Executive Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama, will take effect on January 24.
Currently associated with S N A@Law in Kumasi, Mr. Nurudeen has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law. His legal expertise is further enhanced by his leadership experience gained from his role as Project Manager at Chrisviegg Company Limited, a key player in Ghana's road and building construction sector.
Abass Nurudeen's appointment is anticipated to bolster the operations of the Social Investment Fund, which aims to promote social and economic development throughout the country. His varied professional background equips him well to lead the Fund’s mission of improving livelihoods through focused investments and initiatives.
