Ho MP-Elect assures constituents of collaborative leadership to deliver

Hon. Edem Richmond Kpotosu, the newly elected Member of Parliament for Ho Central, has pledged to collaborate closely with President-elect John Dramani Mahama to deliver on campaign promises and ensure inclusive leadership for his constituents.

Kpotosu made this commitment during a Thanksgiving service held on December 22, 2024, at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Sokode Gbogame. The event was attended by party supporters, executives, and former Member of Parliament Hon. Captain (Rtd.) George Nfodzo.

Addressing attendees, Kpotosu assured his constituents that the incoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) government would address the needs of all Ghanaians. He called for prayers and support to help the new administration implement its agenda aimed at resetting the country for the collective benefit of its citizens.

Rev. Fr. Anthony Akpalu, the Parish Priest of St. Anthony Catholic Church, commended Kpotosu for his dedication and urged him to remain guided by his Catholic values in his role as a Member of Parliament. Fr. Akpalu emphasized the importance of prioritizing the well-being of the people and remaining receptive to diverse perspectives.

Kpotosu’s message of hope and unity struck a chord with attendees, highlighting his gratitude and humility during the Thanksgiving service. His commitment to inclusive leadership has been well-received, positioning him as a unifying figure in the constituency.

As Kpotosu prepares to assume office, he is expected to focus on fulfilling campaign promises, including enhancing education, healthcare, and infrastructure in Ho Central. His success, however, will hinge on effective collaboration with constituents, the president-elect, and other stakeholders.

Hon. Kpotosu will take over from Hon. Benjamin Komla Kpodo, who served the constituency for three terms. His tenure will officially begin on January 7, 2025, when the 9th Parliament is sworn in.
