C/R: Chris Arthur express appreciation to Agona West Constituents for unflinching support

The NPP Parliamentary candidate for Agona West in the just-ended general elections, Mr. Chris Arthur, has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the constituents of Agona West for their unwavering support during the December 7 elections.

As part of his thanksgiving, Mr. Arthur visited several Muslim and Christian communities in Agona Swedru to express gratitude to God and the people, even though he did not win the parliamentary seat.

One of his stops was the Swedru Old Zongo Central Mosque, where he joined the Muslim community to thank Allah and seek His guidance for the future.

“The fact that I got the opportunity to represent the NPP in Agona West was a blessing, so I am content with what the Lord has done for me,” Mr. Arthur said during an interview. “I’m not in any way disturbed about what has happened. As a Christian, I know it was the Lord's doing, and I believe that one day, He will open the door for me at the appropriate time.”

On Saturday, Mr. Arthur and his team visited Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) churches in Agona Swedru to observe the Sabbath and offer thanksgiving to God.

In addition, he attended thanksgiving services at various churches in Agona Swedru, including the Asisim Church of Christ, Bethesda Methodist Church, The Apostolic Church, Ghana, and Emmanuel Assemblies of God, where he joined congregations in expressing gratitude for God’s blessings.

Mr. Arthur urged NPP supporters and constituents to remain hopeful and steadfast in their faith.

“We are in our waiting period; let’s wait on the Lord for His time, for we are in the hands of the Lord,” he encouraged.

Despite the electoral outcome, Mr. Arthur remains optimistic, expressing confidence that better opportunities lie ahead. He reassured his supporters that the future holds great promise under the guidance of God.
