Nana Akufo Addo Disgracefully Rejected by Ghanaians as a Deceptive Leader

The euphoria that greeted Nana Akufo Addo ascendency to the throne as the president of Ghana, was unprecedented in the annals of our history.

Unfortunately his conduct and performance was disastrously abysmal. Evaluation of Nana Akufo Addo behavior as President, it appears as someone who is full of emotions, hate, anger and has a vendetta against the very people that made him President.

Sadly Ghanaians thought they voted for someone who has Ghana at heart,. not knowing they have voted for a Clan Head who is desirous of elevating his Clan over and above any other Clans in Ghana. Based on this unproductive desire he failed miserably to execute his presidential functions as Ghanaians expected of him.

Nana Akufo Addo had all the opportunities to succeed, but rather chose to waste our time and resources to denigrate the memory of the Founder of this great nation, Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah of blessed memory. Sadly he wanted to dilute our history by forcefully imposing his forebears who were fierce adversaries of the liberation movement as the forerunners of our independence struggles.

In an attempt to elevate J B Danquah's contributions in the independence struggle over and above Dr Kwame Nkrumah's roles, fortunately more hidden secrets were exposed about his forebears wicked plots against Ghana and their role in the overthrow of the the first Republic which was lead by the Founder Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah. With these revelations the memory of his ancestors had been badly bruised.

Instead of President Nana Akufo Addo building new edifice and named it in memory of his forebears, he unilaterally changed names of some institutions in memory of people of his political persuasion. If it was not the formidable resistance from most Ghanaians and the University of Ghana communities he would have changed the name of University of Ghana to Dr.Joseph Boakye Danquah University.

Another dangerous phenomenon of his administration is deliberately packing the Juduciary with his cronies and party members who are doing his biddings. Unfortunately those characters elevated to the Judicial Service are tools of manipulation and robots.

Recent constitutional interpretation by the Supreme Court are very disturbing.and has dragged the image of the Supreme Court into the mud. The conduct of President Nana Akufo Addo and the New Patriotic Party, most often deliberately and consciously twist the interpretation of constitutional provision and have the Supreme Court interpret it to favour their self determined interpretation. Does it make sense Birth Certificates no longer a document as prove of citizenship. Meanwhile the birth certificate is one of the important document that qualified an individual citizen to apply for the National Identification Card.

President Nana Akufo Addo have broken the tripod of State, The Executive, Legislatures and the Juduciary. He deliberately did that to weakened those organs and subject them to presidential control.

Another grievous crime by Nana Akufo Addo against the people is the destruction of the educational system and institutionalization of lawlessness, indiscipline and corruption. Based on the insensitive of the government on the citizens, most of the citizenry are now rendered as second rate citizens.

Never again a decorated despot, deceptive characters and a liars are imposed on the electorates to elect as president. Ghanaians would never entertain any despotic regime in their life time.
