A CAUTIONARY TALE (Ghanaians)

Perhaps it bears Noting that in "electing" John Dramani Mahama, you've got, NOT a Knight in Shining Armour; but a possible continuation of the "Thieves in the Night." The pedigree can hardly be contested. They're all DUKA DAAYA.

He and his Crew cometh NOT waving Blazing Swords to Right Wrongs. Rather, they come back with depleted Sacks beckoning Refills from where they left off in 2016. In the Twi parlance, "WƆƆNOM ƐƐBƐGYE WƆN TWƐDEƐ MPƆ." They already know the drill. They are familiar with the Formula, and the Terrain.

He's come back therefore, as a bruised mangled defeated pugilist. In his earlier tenure that ended in 2016, Mahama was deemed as Corrupt, Damaged and Despised in the Ring; just as Akuffo Addo has been savaged and despised in 2024. For every Ken Ofori Atta, Asante Bediatuo or Okyere Daako, there was an equivalent in Mahama's entourage.

John Mahama had his AGYAPA Scandal in the alleged Nyinahin Bauxite hand off to his brother Ibrahim, worth Billions of Dollars. Who can forget Roland Agambilla, and the scandalous claim of a Laptop on the Lap of every School Pupil; not mentioning the "City on the Hill" construction. Will American Rapper Chris Brown make a Return to finish off his Joint?

Will Gilbert Iddi and the Savanna Development scheme now reveal where the "million trees" were planted; or console Ghanaians by revealing where the "NKONFƐM" flew to. Perhaps the scheme will now be re-imaged as NKOKƆ NKETENKETE, and Dabiara (24 Dɔnhwere) Economy, with Moonlight Shining on. We don't need No Electricity.

The Characters in the Two Political Parties are ALL the same ROTTEN FINGERS of the same Hands. Will Ghanaians be as vigilant in trailing the new set of potential "Thieves." Will Ghanains be fired up just as the NDC charged its Lunatic Fringe to be VIGILANT at the Polls, which has now metamorphosed into vadandalism, vigilantism,

thuggery, destruction, deaths, and Stealing of State, and Private Assets. Do their actions presage what is to come by the main Actors, in Higher Places. Will it be a case of coming events casting their shadows.

The "Winners' are on a rampage destroying, and stealing State assets. While the "Losers" are celebrating quietly.

Mahamadu Bawumia may be damaged. It may be argued that he was hit by Friendly Fire from the NTUTIA directed mainly at the Kyebi Kingpin, and his fellow arrogant corrupt, nouveau riche clansmen. Was Alhaji Bawumia caught in the crossfire, or is he perceived to be part of the "Kyebi Mafia," and their doings. Americans call it "Collateral Damage." He may now face an uphill battle to remain relevant in the NPP.

The Lesson here for the NPP, if they are inclined to learn, is: Don't Debase the Base. The Centre refused to hold so, Things Fell Apart.

Point is, ALL have sinned and come short of NYAMEKƐSEƐ. So, stop the trumpeting of Mahama as someone presaging a brighter Star. We've ridden that Rodeo before.

The danger is that he has a shorter time to refill his Sack. And his handlers in the Ring may be too Hungry, and not astute. This is not a time for joy. Why would the "Winners" be on a destructive, murderous, stealing rampage. Coming events cast their shadows.

It is NOT a new dawn in Ghana.
