2024 polls motivate NDC to work even harder and deliver more for Ghanaians — Ato Forson

The Minority Leader in Parliament and Member of Parliament for Ajumako-Enyan-Esiam, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, has said the results of the 2024 general elections serve as a motivation for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to intensify their efforts in serving Ghanaians.

In a social media post on Tuesday, December 10, Dr. Ato Forson described the election outcome as a “people’s revolution,” commending Ghanaians for decisively rejecting poor governance and entrusting the NDC with a stronger mandate in Parliament.

“The hard work and dedication of our NDC MPs have been rewarded by Ghanaians, who have given us an additional 50 seats in Parliament. This remarkable achievement raises our numbers from 137 to 187 seats,” he stated.

Expressing gratitude for the trust reposed in the NDC, the Minority Leader pledged that the party would work even harder to deliver on the expectations of Ghanaians.

“This overwhelming endorsement will motivate us to work even harder and deliver more for Ghanaians,” he assured.

Dr. Ato Forson also reaffirmed the party’s commitment to striving for a better Ghana, noting that the lessons from the elections would guide the NDC in their quest to provide better governance.

The 2024 general elections saw the NDC’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, defeating the NPP’s Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia by over 1.6 million votes in the presidential contest.
