Mahama is the experienced person to get Ghanaians out of NPP’s mess — Prof Naana Jane

The Vice Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has urged Ghanaians to vote out the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming general elections, citing the economic hardships imposed by the current administration.

Addressing residents of Akokwaa in the Agona East Constituency during a campaign tour in the Central Region on Monday, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang described NDC’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, as the only leader with the experience and vision to restore the economy and improve the lives of Ghanaians.

“The economic hardship created by this NPP government has reached unbearable levels, and it is clear that only Mr. John Dramani Mahama has the requisite experience to get Ghanaians out of this mess,” she declared.

Prof. Opoku-Agyemang assured the electorate that an NDC-led government would implement practical policies designed to address the country’s pressing challenges.

Among the proposed initiatives are the 24-Hour Economy, the Women’s Development Bank, the National Apprenticeship Programme, and the Big Push infrastructure agenda, which aims to create jobs and stimulate economic growth.

These policies, she noted, are tailored to bring immediate and sustainable relief to Ghanaians.

Emphasizing the importance of the December 7 polls, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang described voting against the NPP as a “call to national duty.”

She appealed to all Ghanaians, particularly first-time voters, to participate actively in the elections and vote massively for the NDC to “secure a brighter future for all.”
