Election 2024: Salam Mustapha woos Agona West for NPP, canvas votes for Bawumia and Chris Arthur

The National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Salam Mustapha, has confidently stated that the NPP will secure victory in the December 7 General Elections, with Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia poised to become the next President of Ghana and a majority of NPP Members of Parliament.

"Nothing will stop the NPP, led by its flagbearer, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, from winning the December 7 elections. Ghanaians should have confidence in the NPP and vote for us to form the next government," Mr. Mustapha asserted.

Speaking during an interview with local radio stations in Agona Swedru on Tuesday, he assured that the party has implemented all necessary measures to ensure a decisive victory.

"I am impressed by the overwhelming support I received during my tour of the Agona West Constituency. This reflects the constituency’s readiness to back the NPP in our quest to break the eight-year cycle and vote massively for our parliamentary candidate, Mr. Chris Arthur, to retain the seat," he said.

He encouraged NPP members and sympathizers to work tirelessly toward the party’s success.

"To those NPP members who are still undecided, I urge you to set aside any differences and join the winning team. The party is bigger than any individual, and we must unite with a common purpose to achieve our goal of winning the elections and continuing the good policies that improve the lives of Ghanaians."

Mr. Mustapha emphasized the importance of post-election unity and cooperation, stating, "Elections come and go, but unity and collaboration are essential for progress. Let us come together, support one another, and build a stronger, more connected community for the future."

He assured constituents that the party would protect every single vote. "Feel confident and come out to vote for Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as President and Chris Arthur as your Member of Parliament," he said.

Mr. Salam Mustapha was accompanied by the Central Regional Youth Organizer, Kenneth Quansah; the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Agona West, Mr. Chris Arthur; and the Agona West Constituency Chairman, Alhaji Tanko Toye. During their visit to the Agona Nyakrom community, they interacted with the youth, encouraging them to campaign vigorously for the party.

Meanwhile, Mr. Chris Arthur made a generous donation of sewing machines to 500 members of the Ghana Dressmakers and Tailors Association. The initiative aims to empower the beneficiaries with tools for economic independence, promote local livelihoods, and foster entrepreneurship among the youth.

"This donation reflects my commitment to supporting local businesses and equipping young people with the skills and tools necessary for economic self-sufficiency," Mr. Arthur said.
