For a while, I decided not to comment on silly campaign gimmicks. The art of ridiculing opponents' messages is not unique at all. It happens everywhere, so I personally had over the periods ignored the urge to join the bandwagon in the chorus of making fun of opponents' pledges and messages.

In time, choruses such as papano and econime had come to pass. They've had their funny days. Now the new mantra in town is nkokor nkiti nkiti, which in the east anglia parlance, means little chicks or little chickens 🐔. Nkokor nkiti nkiti is part of an elaborate policy proposal by mahama and his ndc to promote high enthusiasm in poultry farming. With this, mahama and his ndc plan to supply people who would've interest in poultry farming with little chickens(nkokor nkiti nkiti) on a massive nationwide drive. How is this a bad thing. How can anyone poke fun at this proposal.

Now, for anyone to find value in the promotion of credit culture when citizens would be encouraged to purchase mobile phones on credit basis, which people would be able to pay 1 cedi or 2 cedis per calendar month. If anyone thinks buying phones on credits is better than the suggestion of acquiring chickens for free to start a small poultry farm. If you laugh off nkokor nkiti nkiti but accept acquiring mobile phones through a high purchase program, you must have lost your mind.

In my days at Burma Camp during IK Acheampong time. The military junta head just had to use the microphone to raise a mantra, which was known as Operation Feed Yourself. In short, I mansa musa at one point had about 150 rabbits and about 20 grasscutters(akrantie) in my ever expanding cages. Again, in a long period of following politics around the globe, no political opportunist had ever campaigned on the delivery of digitisation.

The closest I've heard a politician promise to increase modern technology was when in 2016 or thereabouts, the labour party candidate in the UK promised to extend WiFi coverage to various parts of the UK from urban areas. It was about building more physical infrastructure to support Internet technologies to expand to the hinterlands. No self-esteemed politician who, in turn, has respect for citizens wouldn't campaign on promises of introducing more apps. Apps building is the work for sector ministries and private organisations.

Apps for supporting Internet stuff and modern technologies are being introduced in all peaceful sovereign states without making it a major or main campaign selling message. The advantage, the value of promoting poultry farming on a massive scale, all across the land, can not and should not be over-emphasised. Anyone poking fun or ridiculing a policy proposal of promoting self-reliance aimed at achieving food and agriculture sufficiency, that person can not be described as thinking person and definitely not a wise being.

If anyone needs to be educated, let it be known that upon all their supremacy in high-end technologies, all major powers on earth have built their military, economic and political strength upon strong food and agriculture foundations. These nations are strong because of strong agric base, food sufficiency. Upon all the hundreds of sanctions heaped on Russia, what is sustaining them is their ability to feed their huge armies without relying on imports. Today, we in Ghana import cassava, tomatoes, pepper, snails, and even water, and you want to laugh about nkokor nkiti nkiti? You are sick.
