Bunso ECO PARK wins big at 2024 Eastern Regional Tourism Awards

The Bunso ECO PARK, located in the Abuakwa South municipality, emerged as a major winner at this year’s Eastern Regional Tourism Awards, held last Friday at the Baca Hotel and Event Centre in Koforidua.

The park was named *Visitor Attraction of the Year*, surpassing other nominees to claim the prestigious award. Additionally, the park’s General Manager, Mr. Kenneth Asare Frimpong, was honored as *Site Guide of the Year*.

In an interview with the media following the event, Mr. Asare Frimpong attributed the park’s success to consistent hard work, innovation, and creativity, which he said have been the facility’s defining qualities throughout its existence.

He emphasized that the management team is committed to introducing new ideas and enhancements to ensure the park remains a top destination for tourists.

Highlighting some of the park's key attractions, Mr. Asare Frimpong listed the canopy walk, zipline, children’s zone, horseback riding, an adults’ wing, nature and cocoa tours, a tourist site, and the region’s largest swimming pool. These features, he noted, cater to both local and international visitors.

He reassured tourists of the park’s ongoing commitment to providing world-class services and expanding its offerings to meet the diverse preferences of visitors.
