It was a blue day for our untapped Parliamentary mileage. Parliament doesn't give a person the upper hands over others when it comes to forums, although there could be a wiggle room depending on the gravity of an issue. Positions have nothing to do with mechanical obeisance, when it's done through cynical manner and chiefly, when the person isn't an easy mark. Positions are given to a person to just be at a helm of affairs for a department, organization, institution etc but it doesn't mean, the person must be lionized or cockered. The Ghana Parliament has been projected to be blemished by the flagrant double - standard Member of Parliament in the shape of Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa .
It is the same person, Okudzeto Ablakwa, who stood by Alfred Woyome upon he had frittered away those astronomical monies given to him by his daredevil flagbearer, John Mahama under their government on national television. He is a chummy man but above all, he has been swayed by a disorder known as ' lip ' and ' lordliness '. What transpired between himself and Hon. Kojo Oppong - Nkrumah in Parliament is a chronology of his behavioural canker. His wont to hector and domineer others is ridiculously crackpot. It is very hapless that, someone like him has got a chairmanship position in Parliament : his crassness has soiled and jinxed that particular portfolio.
Mr. Ablakwa, on any graceful day, can't throw down the gauntlet to Hon. Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah : he is by miles cerebral, well nurtured and matured academically than you. There is this aphorism, " What is good for the goose is also good for the gander ". How does a scant floor Member of Parliament catalogue a Cabinet Minister with miasmic word like ' insincerity ' because, he was myopic about the happenings at the Minister's sector apropos a specific project ? Meanwhile, he ( Ablakwa ) could have probed into the impressionism of that project before that conclave had started for the cause of empirical evidence. His ignorance is at its zenith. Quite risibly, he subsequently solicited for an apology after the Minister bagged his skin - deep minded. Probably, he thought, Hon. Kojo Oppong - Nkrumah is pusillanimous. I hope he saw, how Hon. Kojo Oppong - Nkrumah made him felt muppet ? It was airy - fairy for Okudzeto Ablakwa to had made that holler.
What piques me the most is whenever he utters that, he is battling for the furtherance of Ghana. It is sorely stewing for such despicable person to engage Ghanaians with his lying orgies. He cannot blarney us through his guileful trails. He is the eunuch and minutest in Parliament and as such, he ought to esteem the patriciates. Everybody knows, he is in Parliament to actualize his assigned partisan political duties, but trust me, any approach of him to do that, shall be bridled. He cannot feud with those, who are the marrows of the country's developments based on babyish inducements. Ghanaians won't remain aloof for any doomster like him to vandalize the country.
