Former Member of Parliament (MP) for Lower Manya Krobo, Michael Teye Nyaunu has praised John Dramani Mahama for his composure and delivery during his media engagement over the weekend.

The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) engaged the press on Sunday, July 7, to answer several questions on various sectors.

Speaking to Starr News in an interview, Michael Teye Nyaunu said how John Dramani Mahama addressed the issues proves that he is a man who has matured and has his hands on the steer.

He said the former president has learned from the past and his second coming will do the country a lot of good.

“He [Mahama] has learned a lot. The way he was just delivering extempo like that you can see that he is a man whose hand is on the steer and could know where the breaks and accelerators and all those things are. Now he is mature. Mahama is really mature now, and if we have him as President I have no doubt and qualms about that I believe the second coming of Mahama will be quite advantageous to the nation,” Michael Teye Nyaunu said.

Speaking about the NDC ticket, Michael Teye Nyaunu said the decision to select Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang as running mate again was spot on.

“The combination is super Nana Agyemang has also proved beyond doubt that she is a mother and you could see the way she is delivering. She knows how and he touched every part of it. Actually, the combination with the NDC is more effective than that of the NPP,” Michael Teye Nyaunu argued.
