Controversial musician and media personality, Blakk Rasta, has voiced his displeasure with Kennedy Agyapong for endorsing New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Blakk Rasta's remarks stem from Kennedy Agyapong's previous statements where he had vowed not to support the Vice President due to unresolved issues, making his current stance surprising to his supporters and many.
Blakk Rasta believes Agyapong's decision to back Bawumia in the lead-up to the 2024 general elections could be detrimental to his political future given the barrage of attacks and criticisms he made against Dr. Bawumia's candidacy during the NPP flagbearer race.
Speaking on the UrbanBlend show on 3FM, Blakk Rasta criticized those who encouraged Agyapong to support Bawumia, calling it a misguided move with potential repercussions to his image.
"Kennedy Agyapong is not a serious guy. He is a liar and a joker. In the run-up to the presidential campaigns in the NPP, he said Bawumia had nothing to offer. I met Kennedy Agyapong personally, and he told me, 'Never would I campaign for Bawumia.'
"What has changed? Do you respect your audience and your fans enough to return to them? I am so disappointed by Kennedy. Whoever is advising him has advised him wrongly. He's killing his own political career. I'm glad I have lived long enough to see the real Kennedy Agyapong," Black Rasta asserted.
These comments were made after Kennedy Agyapong was spotted campaigning for the Vice President during the NPP Ashanti Region campaign tour.
Additionally, sections of the public expressed surprise at the Assin Central MP's decision to support Bawumia despite their previous differences.

It is difficult to comprehend the rage with which Ken Agyapong attacked Bawumia, branding him a fake economist whose incompetence has destroyed the economy.
