2024 SHABACH conference seeks to empower women through spirituality and networking

In an atmosphere of serenity and unity aimed at advancing women's agendas, the 2024 SHABACH Women's Conference concluded successfully, calling on women to leverage networking and foster interconnectedness to aid their spiritual growth and development.

The conference, organized by the Prayer Palace and led by Dr. Annick Adjei, marked the fifth edition of continuous programs geared towards improving the well-being of women. The event culminated on Sunday, May 19, 2024, with various activities.

Dr. Annick Adjei emphasized the overarching vision to empower women and elevate them as champions, akin to men, highlighting that this has always been a priority for "our father, founder, and general overseer of Prayer Palace over the years."

According to Dr. Adjei, the conference platform has historically provided women the opportunity to showcase their fields of trade, engage in discussions on family, marriage, and relationships, and holistically develop their capacity to thrive in the 21st century.

Dr. Annick Adjei also mentioned that part of their care plan includes financial support for their women's ministry, particularly for those blessed with children and those who have lost loved ones.

"Charity has always been part of our DNA. We have made donations to orphanages and hospitals and supported the needy at church over the years," emphasized Dr. Adjei.

Looking to the future, Dr. Adjei plans to intensify panel sessions and invite prominent women leaders to share their experiences, reiterating, "Our ultimate vision for SHABACH is to be both a spiritual convention and a networking hub where women can showcase their businesses with an exposition at the church."

The conference, aimed at equipping women with essential life skills for the future, also encouraged them to participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October to get screened and ascertain their health status.

The SHABACH Women's Conference concluded by soliciting and donating items to orphanages. "We visited Kingdom Dynamics Future Ghana in Kukurantumi to present our donations and support them in prayer," Dr. Adjei noted.

"We invite anyone in charge of an orphanage and in need of support to contact us," shared Dr. Annick.

This year's conference featured prominent figures in ministry, including Rev. Mrs. Dora Tackie-Yarboi, Rev. Mrs. Rita Korankye Ankrah, and Prophet Emmanuel Adjei, Founder of Prayer Palace.

Shâbach, a Hebrew word of praise, means to address in a loud tone, to shout, to commend, to glory, or to declare triumph. Although used sparingly in the Old Testament, each instance carries significant power.
