
The Ghana Police Service has made a breakthrough in its investigation of the murder of Dr. Christopher Adu Boahen in Accra.
In a press release on Tuesday, March 19, the Police said one suspect has been apprehended.
“The Ghana Police Service has today, 19th March 2024, arrested suspect Mark Forson in connection with the murder of Dr. Christopher Adu Boahen in Accra,” part of the Police press release said.
According to the Police, they received a complaint from some relations of the deceased that he had been found dead in his room under suspicious circumstances on March 17.
Subsequently, a team of Police investigators and crime scene experts immediately visited the scene to commence the investigation leading to the arrest of the suspect.
In the release from the Police signed by Grace Ansah-Akrofi, it said the suspect is in custody and will be put before the court while the investigation continues.
