Massive Road Infrastructure Development in the Yagaba - Kubori Constituency Under Hon. Mustapha Ussif (MP and Minister) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Government

Hon Mustapha Ussif, member of parliament for Yagaba - Kubori constituency is doing wonders in his constituency with massive development across the constituency. You would be amazed how all aspects of the economy, ranging from education, roads and transport, health, socioeconomic, among others are being catered for. The constituents of Hon. Mustapha Ussif are feeling the positive impact of his good works. In this piece, the focus is centered on the unprecedented road infrastructure development dotted across the constituency, executed by Nana/Bawumia government through the effort of the MP.

You would be surprised to know that, the constituency has had it's first ever asphalted roads under the leadership of the MP and the NPP government. Yes, the roads from Wiasi junction to Yezesi, Yezesi to Tantala and Tantala to Wuntubri are all asphalted. These roads are in the Yagaba-Kubori constituency, Mamprugu-Moaduri District and by extension North East Region.

It would interest you to know that, the road network in the constituency is rapidly connecting, with many communities linked to one another by good tarred and asphalted roads. The roads linking Yagaba, Kubori and Mankarigu are constructed under Nana/Bawumia government. The residents plying those roads are grateful to the MP, the President and the Vice President for attending to their needs with the massive road infrastructure development which even links the constituency to other constituencies and regions.

The residents of Kubori, Zanwara, Yezesi and Nangruma are also enjoying their roads as the roads linking Kubori to Zanwara and Yezesi to Nangruma have seen great facelifts. The constructions are completed and the roads are accessible. The road network in the Yagaba-Kubori Constituency is impressively and highly connecting across the constituency as I indicated. The chiefs and people of these communities are comfortably plying the following roads constructed by Nana/Bawumia government; Tantala - Zukpeni road, Yagaba - Gbima road, Yagaba - Goriba road, Kubori - Gombongu - Goriba road, Kubori - Yirangu road. These roads are located in the North East Region of Ghana. This unprecedented record in roads construction can only be done by the NPP government. Hon. Mustapha Ussif is an asset to the Yagaba-Kubori Constituency and Mamprugu in general.

The road linking Yagaba to Loagri is under construction. The following roads are awarded to Mawums Company Limited for construction; Yizebisi - Mugu - Dabozesi -Tuvuu - Yikpabongu road, Yagaba - Kubagna - Licha road, Nangurima - Santa road, Jadema - Katigri - Fumbisi road, Kunkwa - Uwasi - Fumbisi road and Prima - Wuyima road. Are you surprised? The NPP government is performing wonders in the Yagaba-Kubori Constituency and by extension North East Region. The people of North East Region, if we do not want this, what do we want?

Yagaba - Kubori constituency is a farming area where people from all walks of life patronize the lands there for commercial farming aside the subsistence farming being done by the residents of the constituency. The opening up of the road network has greatly improved the movement of farm inputs, products and labour in the catchment area, thereby increasing production and reducing post harvest losses.

There is a very important bridge that is very key to opening the constituency to the rest of the North East Region. The Mishio - Wuyima bridge is the bridge in focus. The construction of this bridge has started by this government and the government is poised to completing it to connect the Yagaba-Kubori Constituency to the Walewale Constituency. It will take less than one hour for commuters to move from Yagaba to Walewale instead of the usual four hours that they spend by passing through the Upper East Region before getting to Walewale. This bridge and the road when completed may even lead to establishment of the biggest food crop market in the region if not the whole of Northern Ghana at Yagaba or Walewale.

The Yagaba - Kubori MP, Hon. Mustapha Ussif and the New Patriotic Party is working tirelessly to bring more development to the good of the Constituency and North East Region in general. My dear good people of North East Region, the NPP government under Nana/Bawumia has good footprints across the country and North East Region is not left out at all. Let no one deceive us for us to change our colour television with a black-and-white television. With *H. E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia* as our next president, more development will hit the whole of North East Region. Remember, we never had North East Region before 2017.
