Tomorrow's Assin North by-election is a crucial one. The word ' crucial ' may sound overerdged, but the Assin North election is That Crucial. If ndc wins, then Ghana is on the way to salvation. Should the npp win, then Ghana, already spread-eagled socially, near-tribally, economically, and politically, will be properly well and truly be fucked up.

Let's give no measure of credence to that LGBTQ notions. The real danger of Akufo Addo gaining a majority in the legislative assembly will be the dire consequence for our country. The dire consequence, which is known to intellectuals and political elites but being overlooked by many people. Just imagine the npp controlled EC that gets whatever legislative instrument passed. All dubious plans like Agyapa Royalties will go ahead together with the Gold For Oil program. Every buy and sell, every purchase, and every lease of state assets to private individuals affiliated to and associated with the Akufo Addo family will go through, completely unchallenged.

With the Akufo Addo family in charge of the judiciary, the police and a private army within the proper army. With all this achieved, how on earth would anyone be able to instigate probity and accountability. Akufo Addo and his people know that their continual survival lies in their ability to be in charge and in control of governance even when they leave office.

For those of you relating to this Assin North election with indifference, if you love and care about Ghana, you wouldn't sit on a fence and wish the best man to win. The situation is simple. If you want Ghana not to fall totally into the hands Garby Okyere Darko, Asante Bedietuo, and belonging to the Chief of Kyebi, then pray and wish that Akufo Addo's npp will not win the by-election. That's all I can say.

Ghana at the crossroads this phrase has been made common, but now, we must agree, Ghana really is at the spaghetti junction.
