Ahotor Project NDCs Lost Opportunity

It's highly unethical for anyone to attack a project like Ahotor. This is a project well thought through to empower members at the base of the Party.

Dr Duffuor the technocrat politician having diagnosed the major cause of NDCs dwindling fortune to neglect of party members at the grassroot. He developed a business model which he christened Ahotor project

It is so sad a novelty project that would empower the constituencies executives with regular inflow of income through hiring of those equipments, the canopies, plastic chairs and the sound systems.The income that is generated can be relied on in running the activities of the party at the base without relying solely on the party headquarters for financial support.

Anyone who think the promoter of the ahotor project, Dr Duffuor may achieve some relevance if allowed to rollout the project successfully, nothing stops those people from creating a business model which would add-on to the income stream for the party.

It's only an enemy of the party who would want to frustrate this laudable revenue generating project which its viability is dependent on the one who conceived and birth the concept. This project if successfully managed would become a constant source of income for the party and reliance on the political entrepreneurs for funding may be curtailed.

It's highly untenable for leadership to deliberately impoverished its members at the base and are being used as tools of manipulation and control. Having achieved the nefarious plots of alienating the original allies of the party, it's becoming difficult for the National Democratic Congress to attract loyal and committed members.

Dr Duffuor must be commended for his bold decision to empower the mass of the party members at the base through the ahotor initiative and not to the chagrin of a minority few.

Can we assume the amount of money the party could generate if the project is fully rollout in all the 275 constituencies. If each constituency could make about GHS 4,000.00 per month and the monies generated can be disbursed on party activities without solely relying on head office for support.

The party leadership must embraced and encouraged others to support the ahotor concept as an investment model the party would want to adapt as a reliable source for revenue mobilisation..

The party rank and file must ignore those ugly noises about the ahotor project, the project is meant to liberate and empower the grassroots from all negative manipulations...
