Member of Parliament (MP) for the Assin Central Constituency, Kennedy Agyapong has descended heavily on Captain Smart after accusing the renowned journalist of owing him to the tune of GHS10,000.
Although the outspoken award-winning morning show host has been taken off Angel 102.9 FM for one month, he has vowed to stay on the toes of underperforming government officials who are running down the country.
In an interview on Net 2 TV, Kennedy Agyapong who has been following the rants of Captain Smart says he (Captain Smart) lacks the moral right to criticise people and government.
According to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP, the experienced Radio show host should shut up about the country’s continuous borrowing when he himself is not a saint on that front.
He revealed that Captain Smart has refused to pay up the sum of GHS10,000 he is owing after purchasing an air condition from him.
“He should talk well. This is the last time I’m telling him this. Me I don’t mind and what he is doing too there is sense in some of them so the NPP must listen.
“But today when I was listening to him he committed some blunder. He said when someone borrows he pays then he is given a new one.
“Captain Smart, you still owe me GHS10,000 for the air condition you took from me three years ago. Up till now, you have not paid,” the Assin Central MP disclosed.
The lawmaker continued, “So what moral right do you have to criticize somebody to pay when he takes a loan.
“Please stop talking plenty. Common GHS10,000 you can’t pay. You're a fucking cheap," the MP fumes.

Mr Agyapong, you have helped this guy with GHC 10,000. Maybe he thought it was a gift to him. But Captain Smart's recent rantings is a powerful message that NPP Administration must take seriously. Our country is going backwards. Please help Nana Addo to sort the mess out. Fixing Ghana is well overdue ain't it?
