The Central Tongu District Coordinating Director, Reuben K. Akufo is in court over the non-payment of Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) contributions of some employees.
He admitted to the charge on Friday, 5th March 2021, when he appeared before the Sogakope circuit court.
He told the court he is making plans to pay up all the debts.
The Coordinating Director was granted bail in the sum of GHC 15,000.
He will reappear before the court on Friday, 9th April, 2021.
Mr. Reuben K. Akufo has failed to pay SSNIT contributions of his workers since 2012.
He had been investigated and found guilty after a whistleblower informed SSNIT prosecutor of his unlawful act.
