Otumfuo Osei-Tutu Has Been Vindicated on Mahama Concession Faux-Pas

He is right on target, when Dr. Emmanuel Akwetey chides Candidate John “Akonfem-Kanazoe” Dramani Mahama for his adamant and flat refusal to do the right and psychologically mature thing, which to wisely and promptly concede defeat to President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, as a scandalously unsavory act that seriously detracts from the credibility, integrity and reputation of the former President within the global community (See “Akwetey, Peace Council and Others Ignore Gunshots, Injuries and Killings at 2020 Polls, Focus on Mahama” The Herald/ Ghanaweb.com 12/21/20).

Now, I don't for a split-second and the sake of me, as it were, appreciate the sort of “international reputation and standing,” or image, that the Executive-Director of the Institute of Democratic Governance (IDEG) is talking about, except for the fact that Candidate Mahama's insufferably rude and infantile behavior strikingly recalls the Bole-Bamboi, Savannah Region, native's execrably lurid attempt to tarnish the image and reputation of The Asantehene, His Majesty, Otumfuo Osei-Tutu, II, in the matter of the masterful presentation before a plenary session of the United Nations Organization (UN) a little over a year ago.

In the aforesaid presentation, The Asantehene noted having diplomatically prevailed on the then-incumbent President John “European Airbus-SE” Dramani Mahama to concede defeat, in the wake of the latter's massive loss in the 2016 Presidential Election. The Gonja-Mafia Capo would promptly take to the national radio and television airwaves to vehemently deny that Otumfuo Osei-Tutu had made any such yeomanly and statesmanly contribution to both the post-election climate of peace, security and stability of the country, as well as the general progress and development of a robust democratic culture.

Well, as it is often said, it was only a matter of time before Otumfuo Osei-Tutu was vindicated. And now, the most powerful monarch in Ghana has been decisively and eloquently and definitively vindicated to the detriment and irreparable shame of the Gonja-Mafia Capo, his supporters, sympathizers and hangers-on. Now, it is deafeningly clear who the congenital and/or pathological liar is here. We haven't, of course, also so soon forgotten how Mr. Julius Debrah, the second bananas Mahama Chief-of-Staff foolishly allowed himself to be used as the night-soil carrier of the Gonja Boy, all for a messy chunk of tripe. Now, I don't know what Mr. Butterball may be thinking; not that it really matters anyhow.

The caption chosen by the publisher and editors of the Mahama- and National Democratic Congress-leaning newspaper is all too predictably quaint, if also because like the key operatives of the NDC, the operatives of The Herald newspaper have conveniently chosen to ignore the stark and inescapable fact that nearly each and every one of the election-related violence that ended in the deaths of about a dozen Ghanaian citizens had directly to do with National Democratic Congress-sponsored attempts at ballot-box snatching and equally criminal attempts to disrupt the smooth and peaceful administration of the 2020 General Election by the Jean Adukwei Mensa-Headed Independent Electoral Commission (IEC).

But that former President Mahama would append his name and signature to the Presidential Election Peace Pact (PEPP), jointly convened by the Office of the National Chief Imam, the National Peace Council (NPC) and the National House of Chiefs (NHC), knowing fully well that he did not intend to stick to the tenets of the pact or compact, is all the more to be pitied. Of course, the joke is on the Duncan Williams-genuflecting Voodoo-Gospel addicted Mr. John “Brazil 2014” Dramani Mahama. This National Security Risk of water-reflection-gazing killer megalomaniac could not be trusted going into the signing of the Presidential Elections Peace Pact, because Candidate Mahama, the infamous host of the Guantanamo Bay terror suspects, has never respected the validity and credibility of any election ever held in Fourth-Republican Ghana, save for those that either personally favored him or his bosses and cronies, including the 2012 Presidential Election, which NDC party General-Secretary, Johnson Asiedu-Nketia, publicly and sheepishly acknowledged had been stolen from the then-Candidate Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo with the collusive complicity of Dr. Kwadwo Afari-Gyan, the extant Chairman of the Electoral Commission, and an incumbent Interim-President John “Akonfem-Kanazoe” Dramani Mahama.

Now, as this Akufo-Addo-knighted thoroughly defeated post-2016 Presidential-Election Subregional Shuttle Diplomat and his associates, supporters and sympathizers criminally resort to the torching of major market centers and other public landmark spaces and properties around the country, it is about time that this Indemnity Clause-protected vandal and thug was promptly brought to book, to serve as a necessary deterrent to prospective copycats.
