Ye shall take dominion in this land

I. MY BELOVED SISTER "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." Genesis 1:26. This is the original mandate of man, distorted through the Adamic sins and restored through Jesus Christ on the cross. This means that God did not create you to merely exist in this land. He created you to TAKE DOMINION IN THIS LAND. Dominion is not visitation; it is occupation. Dominion is not survival; it is rulership. Dominion is not begging for space; it is taking charge. This land is not for the wicked to dominate while the righteous lament. This land is for the righteous to take dominion. If you forget about your heritage, foreigners take over and possess it. Dominion was given before you were born. You did not apply for it. God gave it by creation. Revelation 5:10 – "And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. " We shall not reign only in heaven. We shall reign ON THE EARTH - in this land.

II. CHILD OF GOD, you are a king in this land, not a slave; you are a priest in this land, not a beggar; therefore, take dominion wherever you find yourself. In your business take dominion; in and in your family take dominion. Matthew 11:12 - "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force." Land does not remain empty; if the righteous do not take dominion, the Philistines will block your wells – Genesis 26:15. If Israel does not occupy Canaan, giants will occupy it. Corruption takes dominion when integrity is silent. Immorality takes dominion when righteousness is silent. Ignorance takes dominion when wisdom is silent. That is why Obadiah 1:21 says "And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the Lord's." God is raising saviours - men and women who will take dominion for Him in media, in governance, in business, in education, in family. Are you ready to take dominion? Get on your needs and daily prayer for the power and wisdom to take dominion in your area of operations.

III. SON OF MAN, this is our portion – Joshua 1:3 – "Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses." God has given you this land. But you must tread – you must take steps, take action, and take dominion. Taking dominion is not abstract; it is territorial and practical action. Dominion in the Gate – Leadership and Governance – we cannot wait on the sidelines while others take control of the gate. Christians get up and take dominion of the gate. The gate is the place of decision, of policy, of law. Righteous men must take dominion in the gates of this land. Beloved, you are called to shape narrative, to influence policy, and to speak truth to power. Let us take dominion in the market – economy and business. Deuteronomy 28:13 - "And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath." You shall not be a tail in business. You shall take dominion in the market of this land. Your product, your service, and your work shall be ahead.

IV. DAUGHTER OF ZION, you must take dominion over works of darkness; let the light of God shine in the dark places. Luke 10:19 – "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Every curse of backwardness in this land, every altar that says you shall not prosper in this land - you have power to tread upon it. Sister, taking dominion is not about taking tea daily; it’s a spiritual activity, spiritual war, and daily reading the word of God and meditating upon it. You cannot take dominion until you know who you are. Know that you are a son of God, a covenant child. You cannot dominate this land in fear. You must subdue fear with faith. Dominion is not a one-day event; it is occupation and raising disciples to continue the dominance. Remember this is a DIVINE NEW DAY PROPHETIC WORD of encouragement sent forth through the authority and power of Christ Jesus and delivered to the brethren through God's Vessel, Francis Ameyibor. Yes! While ungodly politicians struggle consulting other gods to help them take dominion of the gate, believers watch and sometimes pray for ungodly politicians to take dominion of the gate of the country.

V. 2026 IS OUR YEAR AND SEASON TO BE LIFTED UP—Enough of being dominated by the uncircumcised people in this land. Enough of watching from the sidelines. This is your hour of dominion, take dominion first in the spiritual realm then it shall manifest in the physical realm. Rise as a King, rise as a Priest, and take Dominion.

PRAYER: LORD! Today, I establish your word over my life: I am the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath. I reign on the earth, I rule in the midst of my enemies. I take dominion in this land, in this city, in this nation. In Christ Jesus' mighty name I called it established, AMEN!
