What Are You Doing in the Vineyard?

What Are You Doing in the Vineyard?

I. MY DEAR BROTHERS, working in the vineyard is not always the same as working in church. This is where many miss it. You can work IN church and still miss the vineyard. You can be a church worker and not be a vineyard worker. What is the difference? Church is an organization, but vineyard is a Kingdom assignment; church work can be activity, but vineyard work is fruitfulness; church work can be position, but vineyard work is purpose, and church work can be to be seen by the pastor, but vineyard work is to be seen by the Master. So beloved, Remember that Matthew 7:22-23 says, "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? ... And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." They worked in church, they prophesied, they cast out devils, and they did wonderful works—but they never worked in the vineyard. Many are busy, but not in the vineyard; many are active in church, but absent in the vineyard; and many are occupying chairs, but not occupying fields.

II. MY BELOVED SISTER, today God is asking you: “ This is the most piercing question Heaven is asking today. Not "Are you going to church? Not "Do you have a position in church? But " Brother, remember that YOU WERE ORDAINED INTO MINISTRY BEFORE YOU WERE BORN. The ministry did not start when you were appointed; it started before your mother knew she was pregnant with you. Jeremiah 1:5 affirms it: "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." You were ordained into the vineyard to work for the Master. And in Ephesians 2:10 He stresses further that "for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." You must understand that you were ordained before your name was given, you were called before your CV was written, and your assignment in the vineyard was prepared before your education began.

III. SON OF MAN you are not ordinary; you carry a divine ordination. You were pre-wired for vineyard work. "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that ye should go and bring forth fruit and that your fruit should remain." (John 15:16) Beloved, stop saying "I am not called." You were called from the womb. The question is, what are you doing with that calling? Sister, you could dutifully be cleaning church chairs but not winning souls you are in church, not in the vineyard. You may be holding a microphone every Sunday but holding grudges against your brother; you are in church, not in the vineyard. Yes! You may be paying tithe but not raising godly children. You are in church, but your vineyard at home is overgrown.

IV. DAUGHTER OF ZION, the vineyard is bigger than the church building; that was why the rich man engaged workers at 06:00, 09:00, 12:00, 15:00, and still at 17:00. The vineyard includes your home—raising children in the fear of God is vineyard work; your workplace—showing integrity in your office and in your business is vineyard work; your street—being the light to your neighbour is vineyard work; prayer of intercessory—praying consistently for the sick, the poor, etc. is vineyard work; soul winning—doing kingdom business is vineyard work; and your nation—advocating for justice, fighting corruption, and shaping policy is vineyard work. In Colossians 3:23-24 we are encouraged that "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ." Remember this is a DIVINE NEW DAY PROPHETIC WORD of encouragement sent forth through the authority and power of Christ Jesus and delivered to the brethren through God's Vessel, Francis Ameyibor. Yes! The vineyard is vast, and there is work for everyone. No one is unemployed in God's economy.

V. 2026 IS OUR YEAR AND SEASON TO BE LIFTED UP—God does not call everyone to do the same work, but He calls everyone to do SOME work in the vineyard.

PRAYER: Father, I repent for being idle while the vineyard needed me. I repent for confusing church activity with Kingdom assignment. Today I discover and accept my ordination from the womb. From today, I enter the vineyard—my home vineyard, my workplace vineyard, and my community vineyard. Lord, here am I; send me. I will not stand idle again. I receive grace to plant, to water, to weed, to watch, and to harvest. In Christ Jesus’ name I pray, amen!
