I. SON OF MAN, today, I ask you a profound question: Have you ever prayed for trials? Have you ever prayed for temptations? No one prays for trials, but we all want testimonies. Today, I want to assure you that even though no one prays for trials and temptations, God in His own divine wisdom and plans uses them to write our testimonies. Without trails, there are no testimonies. Do you need testimonies? You must come out victorious from the temptations you are going through for your testimony. In Isaiah 43:2, we have the assurance that, when we pass through the waters, He will be with us; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow us. When we walk through the fire, we shall not be burnt. Nor shall the flame scorch us. Beloved, one day you will stand and say the following: I went through the fire, but I was not burnt. I went through the water, and I was not drowned. Because the Lord was with me. Do you want that wonderful testimony to share? Remember David and Goliath; what about Daniel in the lion’s den? And we share the testimonies of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the fire. Joseph went from the pit to the palace. They went through major trials and had testimonies.
II. DAUGHTER OF ZION there are truths we must face: . In James 1:2-3 we are encouraged to face trials and temptations: “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” God is not trying to break you in the trial; He is building you through the trials. Yes, it’s difficult to go through trials, but we all love to share testimonies. Beloved, today, I encourage you to endure the trials and difficulties you are going through now, for, definitely, your testimony season will come soon. We are exhorted in Romans 5:3-4. “We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” Joseph’s prison trained him to manage a nation, and Moses’ 40 years in the desert trained him to lead millions. In 2 Corinthians 1:4 we are assured that “He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” Your trial is someone else’s survival manual tomorrow. Beloved, stand firm, for your testimonies will come.
III. BELOVED SISTERS IN THE LORD, some revelations of God only come through trials and challenges. Genesis 50:20: “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done.” Beloved, even if the enemies have intended to harm you, God will turn it into your blessings at the end. Remember that the pit, the prison, and the palace served as God’s preparatory school to move Joseph to the high office. In James 1:12 we are assured that “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life.” Sister, do you need a crown of glory? Do you need testimonies? Persevere a little more, stand firm, and watch for the salvation of the Lord. Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.” All things working together for good include the trials and challenges you are going through; your marital trials are also working for your good, and the delay in marriage is also preparing you for another testimony tomorrow. You failed your examination, yes. God is aware, and all these are working for your good. Your financial difficulties, job loss, rejection and dejection are also working for your good.
IV. DEAR BROTHERS IN THE LORD, A testimony is born when you go through, not around; there are no shortcuts for divine testimonies. Now change your perspective – see it as a test, not a trap; depend on God’s word during that period; pray and worship your way through; do not quit; persevere; and don’t be a school dropout at this stage when you have the ability and capabilities to pass that test. . Romans 8:18 “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. "Beloved, hold on; your trial is temporary, and your testimony is eternal, for God is working, and your testimony is coming. This is a DIVINE NEW DAY PROPHETIC WORD of encouragement sent forth through the authority and power of Christ Jesus and delivered to the brethren through God's vessel, Francis Ameyibor. Yes! 1 Peter 4:12–13: Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: but rejoice inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
V. 2026 IS OUR YEAR AND SEASON TO BE LIFTED UP—And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. Joel 2:25
PRAYER: Father, we thank You that You do not waste our pain. Give us grace to endure the trial. Give us faith to believe Your Word in the dark. Give us strength to keep doing good while we wait. And when You bring us out, let our lives be a testimony that brings glory to Your name. In Christ Jesus’ name, Amen.
