Seek divine help

Seek divine help

I. SON OF MAN, today reflect, for there comes a moment in every life when human strength runs out. When Doctors will say, “We’ve done all we can.” Friends may say, “I don’t know what to tell you.” When your bank account may be empty, but you have a mountain of bills to pay. Or that crucial moment when your heart says, “I’m tired.” Today, the word to you is to appreciate that when human help ends, God’s help begins. Lift your eyes, and seek the One who never fails. When that moment comes, that is a holy moment; that is the moment God wants you to do one thing: SEEK FOR DIVINE HELP. The Psalmist tells us that during that moment he did one thing: in Psalm 121:1-2, he lifted up his eyes to the mountains—where does his help come from? His help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Brother, today I encourage you to lift up your eyes to THE SOLID ROCK for help. David didn’t say “help might come.” He said, “My help COMES.” Not from a politician. Not from a connection. Not from luck. My help comes from the LORD. May you experience divine help from above.

II. DAUGHTER OF ZION, in this world of uncertainties, we need divine help daily. Psalm 60:11 tells us that God will "give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless.” And Jeremiah 17:5 emphasizes that "cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh.” We must understand that humans have their limitations; divine help is limitless, for God works 24/7. Psalm 121:4 stresses that “Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.” Sister, seeking divine help is not weakness; it is wisdom. In 2 Chronicles 20:12, when King Jehoshaphat faced three armies, he prayed, "We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” That is the posture of seeking divine help. So there comes a moment when you do not know what to do; that is the time to fix your eyes on the Lord. There comes a moment when challenges seem to be confronting you from all angles; that is the opportunity to . God’s help is not far. It is near to those who call on Him. Call him today. Seek His help today.

III. MY DEAR BROTHERS, at that moment, Hebrews 4:16 tells us, “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Notice the emphasis on three things: we must approach—don't stay far away. Come boldly. We need Mercy. And we need Grace to move on. At that moment, we need grace to sustain us. Are you on the sickbed? Psalm 107:20 is for you: “He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.” Claim your portion in the Lord. God’s Word carries help. When you are sick, His Word is medicine. Are you confused at that moment? John 14:26 reassures us that “The Advocate, the Holy Spirit... will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” Depend on the Holy Spirit to help you. Don’t forget that the Holy Spirit is called "Helper" in John 14:16. When at that moment you can’t pray, He helps you pray. Romans 8:26. Brother, seeking divine help is not just for emergencies. It’s for every day. God doesn’t get tired of helping. Ask God for wisdom, ideas, and favour as we are encouraged in James 1:5, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God.”

IV. MY BELOVED SISTERS, In Matthew 7:7 we are motivated to “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Don’t say you have asked and still have no answer. Don’t get tired of seeking, and don’t give up for knocking. Do it again; nevertheless, at His word, cast that net again. Jacob wrestled and said, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” Genesis 32:26. Let us come to that point when we can wrestle with God through prayer. Sister, at that moment, pray and continue to pray for divine help. Seek scriptures to support your prayers. If God said it, He will do it. Numbers 23:19 emphasizes it. We must also understand that divine help often comes in God’s timing, not ours. But it always comes. Moses at the Red Sea: No way forward, the enemy’s army behind. Exodus 14:13-14, and he boldly declared, “Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring.” God parted the sea. Hannah in bitterness: No child. 1 Samuel 1:10 She poured out her soul. God opened her womb, and she gave birth to Samuel. Hezekiah with a death sentence: Isaiah 38:2 He turned his face to the wall and prayed. God added 15 years. Peter sinking: Matthew 14:30 “Lord, save me!” Immediate help. Jesus in Gethsemane: Luke 22:43 “An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him.” This is a DIVINE NEW DAY PROPHETIC WORD of encouragement sent forth through the authority and power of Christ Jesus and delivered to the brethren through God's vessel, Francis Ameyibor. Yes! If God helped them, He will help you.

V. 2026 IS OUR YEAR AND SEASON TO BE LIFTED UP—Today, whatever “it” is for you: The medical report. The broken marriage. The job situation. The child that’s gone astray. The depression. Look up and .

PRAYER: Father, we admit we cannot do this without You. We need Your help in our homes, in our marriages, in our work, and in our minds. We come to Your throne of grace now. Give us mercy for our failures and grace for our needs. Strengthen the weary. Heal the broken. Provide for the needy. And let us never forget: Our help comes from You, the Maker of heaven and earth. In Jesus Christ’s mighty name, Amen.
