I. MY DEARLY BELOVED IN THE LORD, today I assure you that you are not alone. Whatever you are facing, the assurance is that God did not leave you to face it alone. The Lord has placed us in community with a clear assignment to . 1 Thessalonians 5:11: As believers we are tasked with this: "Therefore, and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." God knows ahead of time that one day you will face this challenge; therefore, He assigned members of your community to be around to support and encourage you at this point. "Encouragement" means to come alongside, to call to someone's side, to strengthen, to comfort, and to urge forward. When we encourage, we are doing Spirit-work. We are becoming the hands and voice of God to someone else. Today, the salutation from you will enhance the life of someone. Your words of encouragement will transform someone. Your words of assurance will stop someone from committing suicide. Reach out to help someone today; supporting someone is not only in monetary terms.

II. PRECIOUS IN THE LORD, remember that we live in a world that drains more than it deposits. Headlines stress us. Deadlines depress us. Quiet battles are ongoing in homes, in offices, and in hearts, and that smile on Sunday but break on Monday shows that we need support. Beloved, encouragement is not an option. In Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, the Bible tells us, "Two are better than one... For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow." God knows that through this life journey it's possible that one will slip and fall down. It’s possible that we will face discouragement, depressions, difficulties, and failures, so He assigned the person next to you as your source of encouragement. Life will knock people down. Grief, failure, delay, sickness, and spiritual dryness are real, so God’s remedy is that no one gets up alone. Discouragement tells you, "You're behind. You’re not enough. God forgot you." If the enemy can isolate you, he can defeat you. Encouragement breaks isolation. Because our faith is strengthened in community. Let the church be your place of comfort. Let the home be hospitable. Let the workplace offer a healthy environment.

III. SON OF MAN, Hebrews 10:24-25 tells us, "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together... but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." Today, I encourage you not just to attend church but also to stir each other, provoke faith in each other, and remind each other that God is still moving. Romans 15:4 tells us that "For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope." As believers, we don’t just say it shall be well with you. It is a reassurance of what God said in Philippians 1:6: “that He who began a good work in you will complete it." Speak Scripture over people. It carries weight that our opinions don’t. Proverbs 12:25 also tells us that "anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad. " The person you are seeing today might be going through some form of anxiety, and godly words from you will turn things around. People are carrying daily loads of problems; some are burning inside and want someone to just listen to them. Offer that listening ear today. Offer your hands to support that falling brother or sister.

IV. DAUGHTER OF ZION Proverbs 15:23 The Bible emphasizes that "a word appropriately spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver. " Today, be it known unto you that general encouragement helps, and targeted encouragement heals. Today, don’t just pass by; observe people, notice what someone is carrying, and speak directly to it in a godly way. Galatians 6:2 tells us to "bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ." Sometimes encouragement is not a speech. It is a meal you will offer. A text message you will send to someone. Sitting in silence with someone going through pains. Helping that single mother or father to take care of his or her kids, supporting him or her in the payment of bills, or just showing up to spend time with that lonely elderly man or woman, that brother or sister. This is a DIVINE NEW DAY PROPHETIC WORD of encouragement sent forth through the authority and power of Christ Jesus and delivered to the brethren through God's Vessel, Francis Ameyibor, Yes! Encouragement must move from the pulpit to the pavement.

V. 2026 IS OUR YEAR AND SEASON TO BE LIFTED UP—1 Thessalonians 5:14—"Encourage the fainthearted; help the weak; be patient with them all."

PRAYER: Father, make us a people who build, not break. Give us eyes to see who is weary, mouths that speak grace, and hands that carry burdens. Let our words be your word in someone’s darkest moment. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
