Odefille, the Ghanaian fashion house celebrated for its refined approach to modern executive apparel, will unveil a daring new collection at Accra Fashion Week 2025, running from December 14–21. The showcase introduces The Thai Collection—a sophisticated fusion of Thai-inspired design and South-East Asian creativity.
This latest offering marks a bold evolution for the brand, which has earned acclaim for its structured silhouettes, executive-ready tailoring, and unwavering commitment to comfort, style, and exclusivity. Drawing inspiration from Thai and Indonesian aesthetics of the 1960s through the 1980s, the collection blends vintage Asian influences with contemporary elements tailored for today’s professional woman and man.
Unlike the socially driven focus of Odefille’s 2024 Bambose Collection—which featured textiles hand-painted by single mothers in northern Ghana—the 2025 presentation embraces a more personal narrative. “This collection reflects that journey while staying true to our vision of empowering the modern executive through exceptional design,” explained Co-Creative Director Nadia Asantewaa Nkandobi.
She further noted that the line allowed Odefille to explore elegance through a fresh cultural lens. “By drawing from Thai heritage while honouring the realities of womanhood, we wanted to create pieces that feel both globally inspired and deeply personal. It is a reminder that executive fashion can evolve, adapt, and still remain empowering,” she emphasized.
Odefille’s participation in Accra Fashion Week 2025 underscores the brand’s growing interest in global cultural references and its ambition to expand the definition of African executive fashion. The event will convene designers, buyers, and fashion stakeholders from more than 20 countries.
The Thai Collection will be unveiled exclusively during the main runway showcases, offering audiences a first glimpse of Odefille’s latest exploration of global aesthetics and executive fashion, alongside leading designers from Africa, Europe, and Asia.
