Out of the eight leading varieties of love within our human race. Agape and Philia have been manifested between two humble gentlemen, namely Korzai the musician and Kafui Dey the producer.
When love is in the air one must grab and enjoy it blissfully for all the right reasons. Some show love to each other, while others show love to one another. Some to everyone, and some to only certain people.
Love, should have been for all to experience within humanity. But at the same time, love is not readily accessible to one and all.
Hence one love comes one’s way, one should not hesitate but to enjoy it in equal measure and principle.
Korzai as a musician did not mince or miss his words when he began to give a flower to the recipient who really and truly deserves it.
Pouring his heart and emotions out saying: “I was told that an interview was going on at Kapital Radio in 1997 so I should go and take part.
“The gentleman who gave me this information was then the studio manager of Continental Radio at Unity Hall UST. His name has escaped me.
“So, I decided to try my luck. I had actually not put in any application letter. When I got there the security guys asked me if I had applied and I told them no.
“They told me I couldn’t go in. Then I told them that I was 'walking somewhere' when this gentleman told me to come for the interview. Therefore, if they won’t allow me to take part I am off. They called me back and gave me the opportunity to go in.
“Upon entering the reception, I met a group of applicants waiting for their turn to go in for the interview. I joined the cue and sat next to this handsome talented man called Kafui Dey.
“We started chatting right away and that began a journey of love, care and respect. I later learnt that he composed and produced most of Kapital Radio’s station ID’s.
“Little did I know that destiny led me to this great personality and musician who has now become the pillar of my musical career...?
“He actually awakened the talent that lay hidden within me. Kafui also introduced me to another great musician and a very patient and powerful engineer in the person of Daniel Antwi.
As a man, Korzai did not let his pride or machismo envelope his gratitude. Alluding to an emotional fact he said: “Kafui Dey as I write this, I am emotional, that you were to help me fulfil my calling to impart hope, love, and happiness into the lives of many through music.
“I pray God gives you a long life in good health and a happy home full of love and blessings. “I love you bro.” He concluded.
Looking at the threshold of the story, one way or the other, there is a school of thought that leads to a knowledge, everyone has a key to each other’s door of opportunities, and here is to one of those stories.
Some, will heap praises upon a person as and when they are dead. But Korzai has decided to do it while the other is alive and kicking, by giving a deserving flower to its rightful recipient.
