Effective Counseling Plays An Important Role In Preventing Online Dangers -Rotimi Onadipe Reveals

In his bid to prevent online dangers globally, the publisher of internet safety magazine, Rotimi Onadipe, has called on internet users to contact experts for effective counseling on issues relating to cyber safety.

Onadipe made the call at internet safety magazine office, Ibadan, Oyo State, on Saturday during his weekly broadcast on cyber security, which was initiated by him to educate internet users worldwide about how to avoid online risks.

In this week's edition, Onadipe noted that effective counseling plays an important role in preventing online dangers such as identity theft, cyber bullying, cyber-sex addiction, online gaming addiction, social media addiction, pornography addiction, online misinformation, among others.

According to him, "As far as internet is concerned, we are all at risk of being vulnerable to online dangers because the internet has become an important tool in our daily lives. So, we need effective counseling from experts.

"Research also revealed that one of the common reasons why many people fall victim to online danger is due to lack of effective counseling from experts.

"Don't wait until you become a victim. You are free to get in touch with us for effective counseling on issues relating to online safety and we will be happy to attend to you," Onadipe said.
