An underground artiste has alleged that he and 16 other upcoming musicians have been defrauded by an individual who claimed to be a member of the team organising Shatta Wale’s Shattafest 2026 concert.
According to the artiste, the individual allegedly collected GH¢200 from each of the 17 musicians, promising them an opportunity to perform at the event scheduled to take place tonight at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The alleged victims reportedly paid the money in anticipation of sharing the stage with established musicians and gaining exposure through the highly anticipated concert.
The artiste further claimed that the individual went as far as creating promotional flyers for the upcoming musicians, making the promised performance opportunities appear legitimate.
