Shatta Wale has called on Nigerian music star Davido to present him with a birthday gift after receiving a brand-new 2026 Toyota Land Cruiser Twin Turbo from his cousin and fellow musician, Fantana.
Fantana reportedly surprised the Ghanaian dancehall star with the black luxury SUV on the eve of his birthday, which falls on Saturday, October 17.
The vehicle was driven straight from the harbour to Shatta Wale’s residence at Trassaco, adding a special touch to the celebrations ahead of his big day.
The gesture appears to have inspired the dancehall star to look beyond his immediate circle for more birthday surprises, with Davido—popularly known as 001—emerging as his next target.
Shatta Wale and Davido are two prominent names in African music, with both artistes commanding significant followings across the continent.
Fantana’s gift has also generated interest because of her relationship with Shatta Wale, which goes beyond their shared involvement in music. The two are cousins, and Shatta Wale has previously supported Fantana’s family, including her mother, Dorcas Affo-Toffey.
Shatta Wale has reportedly promised to return Fantana’s kindness with a gift of similar value when she celebrates her birthday in July next year.
