Exclusive Events Ghana, organisers of the Miss Ghana pageant, on Friday hosted a special welcome dinner for Miss Ghana 2026, Rumzia Sule, following her return from the Miss World 2026 festival.
The event, held at Le Pavilion Restaurant from 6 p.m., also doubled as a birthday celebration for first runner‑up Fatimatu Zara Ishacu, bringing together notable personalities from the media, entertainment and beauty industries.
Among the distinguished guests were Abeiku Santana, Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, as well as media personalities Edem Tortsorme, Mustapha Ayinde and Audrey Adiamah of the Miss Ghana Organisation.
Former Miss Ghana Nana Ama Benson also graced the occasion, joining other invited guests for an evening of music, food, drinks and warm camaraderie as the Miss Ghana family reconnected.
The gathering celebrated Rumzia Sule’s international representation of Ghana at the Miss World 2026 festival and acknowledged Zara Ishacu’s birthday milestone.
For decades, the Miss Ghana Organisation has used its platform to promote Ghanaian women, culture, tourism and social impact initiatives. Contestants are offered opportunities to engage in advocacy and community‑focused projects, with winners representing Ghana on global beauty stages.
The 2026 edition marked the 69th Miss Ghana pageant, held under the theme “Empowering Women, Enduring Legacy.” Rumzia Sule emerged winner, with Fatimatu Zara Ishacu and Whitney Opoku Nketia placing first and second runner‑up respectively. Anita Dankwa and Nedlyn Appiah also ranked among the top contestants.
Friday’s event brought the Miss Ghana family together once more to celebrate the contestants’ journeys and strengthen the bonds formed throughout the pageant.
