“I Want a Child, Not a Husband Now” — Ahuofe Patricia Opens Up on Marriage, Loneliness and Her Future

Actress Priscilla Opoku Agyeman, popularly known as Ahuofe Patricia, has revealed that marriage is not a priority for her at the moment, despite occasionally feeling lonely — especially after the passing of her mother.

Speaking on Okay FM with Nana Romeo, she said she would rather have a child than rush into marriage, noting that the rising number of divorce cases she encounters has made her more cautious.

“It gets very lonely, and at this point, I wish for anything — a child, but not a man. I wish I had a child,” she shared.

Ahuofe Patricia explained that her desire for a child is tied to her wish to provide a stable, strong foundation, something she believes marriage alone cannot guarantee. She added that she has not had a child yet because she has not met a man whose intentions genuinely align with hers.

“I haven't met the man who wants to impregnate me. The person's actions and attitude would make me notice whether he wants to take me seriously and settle down,” she said.

Although she is not motivated to marry now, she remains open to the idea if the right man comes along.

“I am not really motivated to get married right now. There are a lot of things that scare me. I know someone who got married for only three weeks,” she noted.

The actress also disclosed that she is a virgin, emphasising that she wants to be absolutely certain about the foundation she will create for her future child before taking any major step.
