A former military man who served as a shadow bodyguard for Ghanaian singer MzVee has alleged that dancehall artiste Stonebwoy nearly assaulted the singer during an incident in Kumasi.
According to the former military guard, the incident reportedly stemmed from what he described as a minor misunderstanding involving the two artistes.
Recounting the incident, he claimed that tensions escalated to the point where Stonebwoy was allegedly about to confront MzVee physically.
He further alleged that MzVee’s security team was prepared to intervene but was restrained from retaliating after Black Cedi, Stonebwoy’s former manager and close associate, stepped in to prevent the situation from escalating.
The former military man suggested that Black Cedi's presence helped avert what could have turned into a physical confrontation between the two camps.
He described the incident as an example of the kind of tense situations that can occur behind the scenes in the entertainment industry, particularly when misunderstandings arise between artistes and their teams.
