Strika needs genuine spiritual guidance and assistance — Nana Frimpong Zigah

Media personality Nana Frimpong Zigah has called for genuine spiritual guidance and assistance for Ghanaian actor Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye, popularly known as Strika, amid the recent controversy surrounding the former child star.

Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz, Nana Frimpong Zigah cautioned against attributing Strika’s struggles simply to witchcraft or supernatural forces. He argued that no witch or wizard can know a person's future with certainty.

His comments come at a time when Strika's life has once again attracted widespread public attention following a recent alleged theft incident at Kwashieman in Accra.

Strika, who gained international recognition for his role in the 2015 film Beasts of No Nation, was reportedly captured on video allegedly removing metal railings from a footbridge at Kwashieman. Residents reportedly confronted him at the scene, while footage of the incident subsequently circulated widely on social media.

The incident has sparked mixed reactions, with some calling for legal action if the allegations are proven, while others have appealed for compassion and support for the actor.

Nana Frimpong Zigah's intervention emphasises the latter approach, suggesting that Strika's situation requires more than condemnation and should also involve genuine guidance and support.

The controversy has also revived concerns about Strika's life after his early success in the film industry. After gaining fame as a child actor, he has reportedly faced several difficulties and has taken on different jobs, including working as a security guard.
