Controversial Ghanaian televangelist and commentator Prophet Kumchacha has made sweeping claims about relationships in Ghana, alleging that the overwhelming majority of women are involved with multiple men and rely financially on their partners.
Speaking on Asempa FM, he claimed that virtually every woman in Ghana has more than two boyfriends.
“There is no single woman in Ghana who doesn’t have more than two boyfriends. Ninety-nine per cent of them are cheats,” he stated.
Prophet Kumchacha further alleged that some women maintain as many as five, six or seven relationships at the same time, with their various partners contributing towards different aspects of their expenses.
“Some have five, six, and some even have seven. They have shared their expenses among their different boyfriends,” he said.
He also claimed that some of the women do not have jobs and instead depend on their multiple male partners for financial support.
“They do not work, but they depend on the men,” he stated.
