Ghanaian musician Patapaa has stirred reactions online after a viral video captured him expressing frustration over what he described as disrespectful treatment by staff at a hotel where he had gone to check in.
In the footage, the One Corner hitmaker appears visibly upset as he confronts hotel personnel, accusing them of failing to give him a proper welcome upon arrival.
According to Patapaa, the receptionists did not display the courtesy and professionalism expected of a hospitality establishment. He insisted that every guest—regardless of status—deserves to be treated with respect.
“I will not sleep here,” Patapaa declared in the video, making it clear he would not stay at the facility due to his dissatisfaction with the service.
He further emphasized that good customer service should be universal, stating that even a mentally challenged person seeking accommodation should be welcomed warmly and treated with dignity.
His comments drew the attention of onlookers, with some attempting to calm the situation while others listened as he explained the reasons behind his displeasure.
As of the time of filing this report, the hotel’s management has not issued a public response, and the circumstances leading to the disagreement remain unclear.
