“A Touch of Glitter”: Charterhouse unveils red carpet theme for 27th TGMAs

Charterhouse has unveiled the official red carpet theme for the 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) slated for May 9.

The announcement signals the start of preparations for one of the most anticipated entertainment events on Ghana’s calendar.

Organisers say the theme reflects a blend of elegance, creativity, and Ghanaian cultural expression on the red carpet.

“This year’s theme is: ‘A Touch of Glitter’,” the organisers said in a statement issued on Thursday, April 16, and signed by Robert Klah, Head of Events and Communications.

They noted that the red carpet remains a major platform where music meets fashion and identity is expressed through style.

The TGMA red carpet is widely regarded as a key highlight of the awards night, attracting attention for its mix of bold and refined fashion statements.

“For TGMA 27, guests are encouraged to incorporate subtle elements of shimmer into their outfits whether through fabric choices, embellishments, or accessories,” the statement said.

The event will take place at exactly 7:06 PM.

Organisers added that the concept is designed to promote “a refined sparkle that enhances personal style while contributing to a cohesive and visually striking red-carpet experience.”
