Kofi Kinaata has shared his thoughts on dealing with criticism, particularly in response to recent comments made by two presenters from Takoradi who mocked him for not winning Music Video of the Year at TGMA25.
During his interview on Starr FM, he said he has never been concerned about criticism and chooses not to respond to it.
He believes that people talking about him and his work is a sign of his existence and relevance.
"If people don't talk about you, it means you don't exist," he stated with a hint of confidence.
Kinaata added that criticism based on facts is acceptable, but unfounded criticism is ignored.
"People have to talk about you and what you do. If it's with facts, it's not an issue, but if not with facts, it's an issue," he emphasized.
Kinaata expressed disappointment that industry players and presenters, who should know better, often speak negatively about him.
"I expect presenters or industry players to know better about me and say good about me," he said.
He emphasizes the importance of constructive criticism, stating that he likes people who criticize to make a positive impact.
