Ghanaian musician Kofi Kinaata has hinted at featuring rapper Sarkodie in the future.
In a recent interview on Starr FM, Kinaata explained that he hasn't done many collaborations with other artists on his songs, citing his unique style of creating music as the reason.
According to Kinaata, his songs often tell a complete story, and by the time he's done recording, there's little room for another artist to add something meaningful.
He noted that this might make other artists feel like their abilities are being limited. Despite this, Kinaata emphasized that there are certain songs that would benefit from specific artists, and as time goes on, he plans to feature others.
"Sometimes, I can just be miming, and by the time you realise, I am done recording. And when I’m done too, the story is already perfectly completed. There wouldn’t be space for anyone else to add something," Kinaata said.
Kinaata revealed that he has only featured Shatta Wale and Samini on his songs so far, but he is open to collaborating with other artists, including Sarkodie.
"I will feature Sarkodie at the right time," he said, suggesting that the collaboration will happen when the time is right.
