Legendary Ga Music Icon Naa Amanua passes away

Ghana's music industry has been plunged into mourning following the passing of Mary Naa Amanua Dodoo, affectionately known as Naa Amanua, a legendary figure in Ga traditional music and folklore.

Naa Amanua, whose extraordinary voice and artistry earned her national acclaim, was best known as the lead female vocalist of Wulomei, the iconic Ga music group founded in 1973.
