‘I privately married a broke guy while I was naive and dumb; it lasted only 2-years’ — Efia Odo

Popular socialite Andrea Owusu, known as Efia Odo, has revealed that she was secretly married to a 'broke' man for two years.

Speaking on the Rants, Bants, and Confession podcast, Efia Odo disclosed that she tied the knot in 2019, but the marriage ended in 2021.

The actress and media personality shared that the marriage was a private affair known only to close family and friends.

“I was married for two years. I got married in 2019 through to 2021. It was very private, but it’s done now. It didn’t work out,” she revealed.

Efia Odo explained that the marriage fell apart due to financial issues and infidelity on her partner’s part.

Reflecting on her experience, she admitted that at the time, she was driven by love despite her partner’s lack of resources.

"He didn't have money and he was cheating. That time, I was very naive and dumb.

“All I cared about was love. He didn’t have money, but I was hoping things would get better,” she confessed.

Now, the actress says her perspective has shifted, and she is focused on dating wealthy men.

“My taste in men has changed. Now, I am only into wealthy people,” she stated.
