
Ghanaian highlife and Afrobeats star King Promise has announced an extensive world tour in support of his newly released third studio album "True to Self".
Kicking off on August 3, in New York City, the 'True to Self' world tour will take King Promise to 12 cities across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia over the next few months.
Cities on the itinerary include Detroit, Bruges, Stockholm, Tokyo, Gold Coast, Gothenburg, Vienna, Hamburg, Paris, Copenhagen, and Amsterdam.
The tour will see King Promise performing at major music festivals like Afro Nation and GhanaFest as well as headlining shows at intimate venues.

Released on June 14, "True to Self" takes King Promise's sound to new emotional depths.
On the 12-track album, he bares his soul through intimate songwriting inspired by real-life experiences with love and relationships.
Standout tracks include "Terminator", "Paris", and "Perfect Combi" which were released prior to the album.
King Promise collaborated with the likes of Sarkodie, OliveTheBoy, Shallipopi, Fridayy, and BEAM on "True to Self", bringing out new sides to their artistry.
In an interview with Apple Music, King Promise opened up about the album title's meaning of being "true to self" and finding the right balance between his authentic Ghanaian sound and artistic vision.
He also provided insightful background on each track and collaboration.
